Sedona Sister Cities Presents Third International Days Event

Sedona, AZ – The Sedona Sister Cities Association, in partnership with the Polish American Congress – Arizona Chapter, invites the public to a festive afternoon of authentic cuisine, culture, and community at Sedona’s first Polish Picnic Celebration, taking place Saturday, September 20, from 3 to 7 PM at Posse Grounds Park in Sedona.

This celebration is the third event in Sedona Sister Cities’ “International Days” series, honoring Sedona’s growing relationship with Jasło, Poland. The event highlights the vibrant traditions of Central Europe through authentic Polish food, traditional music, and a special performance by the renowned Lajkonik Polish Folk Ensemble.

“Events like this bring our communities closer together and show how cultural exchangeenriches everyday life,” said Edyta Wieczorek, Chair of the Jasło Committee. “The friendship between Jasło and Sedona continues to grow through people-to-people connections and shared celebrations like this one.”

Attendees can enjoy homemade Polish specialties, traditional desserts, and beverages available for purchase in a family-friendly atmosphere. The event is free and open to the public.
