Canmore Updates
The inaugural Sedona Sister Cities–Canmore Sister Cities Golf Exchange teed off this fall in Canmore, bringing together golfers from two spectacular mountain communities for the “Red Rocks vs. Rocky Mountains Tournament.”
A team of 12 golfers from Sedona — many of whom regularly play at Seven Canyons Golf Club — along with several spouses, traveled to Canada for the friendly international exchange and two-day tournament at the scenic Stewart Creek Golf & Country Club.
A Successful Event

The Sedona and Canmore golf contingencies. The 12 Canmore golfers won the most points on the first day of play but the Sedona group won more points on the second round giving the overall win to Sedona. The Canmore golfers are all looking forward to visiting Sedona in April!

These non-golfers rode the gondola to the top of the Canadian Rockies at Sunshine Village near Banff
Golf at the gorgeous Kananaskas Golf Club and even sighting a bear!
Most of the group played Banff Springs Golf Course and several had to leave a ball behind to avoid this elk who took over a sand trap
